Janell Scannell
Janell is a co-founder of Pop Up Art School. She is a licensed visual arts teacher and has worked as a K-4 art specialist in the Rockland Public Schools, Weymouth Public Primary Schools, and Whitman Public Schools. She worked as a professional illustrator and graphic designer for 20 years. You can find her illustrations at janellgenovese.com.
Janell also volunteers with CoachArt which provides creative, online learning experiences for children impacted by chronic illness.
When she's not teaching, Janell loves painting and having outdoor adventures like hiking or biking.
Availability: Janell is available every day of the week in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Lisa Walker
Lisa Walker is a co-founder of Pop-up Art School, a licensed visual arts teacher, and was formerly the Art Specialist for grades K-8 at Sacred Heart School in Weymouth, MA. Her artistic background includes jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, and painting.
Lisa is also a volunteer Museum Educator at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA.
When not teaching, she can be found painting with acrylics and watercolors, taking walks in nature, or curled up with a book and her cat Mochi.
Availability: Lisa is available every day of the week in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Erica Harrington
Erica is a talented and versatile artist with a BFA in the illustration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her strong background in illustration serves as the foundation for her artistic endeavors and teaching pursuits.
In addition to teaching for Pop up Art School, she provides art classes for the Rockland Recreation Center and conducts workshops at various studios and businesses on the South Shore. With her volunteer work for the Rockland Cultural Council she plays a vital role in supporting and promoting the local arts and culture scene.
Her realistic illustration skills come to life in the realm of wood pyrography, a craft she shares through her Etsy shop. In addition to pyrography, Erica is an avid painter and skilled cake decorator.
In her free time, Eric enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters and she loves listening to music and taking walks in nature. You can find her @ericaharringtonart

Lara Jardullo
Lara has over 20 years experience teaching in schools and numerous afterschool art programs. She is an active Pop up Art School teacher, traveling to the North Shore of Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire and coastal Maine. In addition, she provides afterschool enrichment classes in art and hip-hop dancing for The Pike School in Andover, MA.
Lara is an artist that enjoys printmaking, mixed-media and illustrating pet portraits. She has a warm and dynamic personality. Check out her rollerskating moves on Instagram @Snackzilla.
Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all day. Monday & Friday mornings and early afternoon. Available on weekends.

Cindy Ferrer
Cindy has a Master’s degree in Art Education and teaches at the Crocker Farm Elementary school, in Amherst, grades K to 6.
She is an artist who enjoys drawing, painting abstract acrylics and watercolors. When she's not teaching, she can be found spending time with her husband , son and young daughter. She stays active with in-line skating and yoga.
Availability: During the school year, Cindy is available weekday evenings, weekends and school vacation weeks.
During the summer, Cindy is available weekdays, evenings and on weekends.
Southwest Florida
Shelly Augsbury
Shelly is a versatile individual with a background in teaching, copywriting, illustrating, and marketing. Her teaching experiences with children span various art centers and schools, including the Indian Rocks Art Center, Suntan Art Center, Northport Art Center, Shore Crest Prep, and Montessori by the Sea. Shelly has completed the DCF training for children.
As an adjunct professor, she taught graduate students, bringing her expertise to a higher level of academia. Shelly's passion for education extends beyond traditional settings, as she volunteers to read her books via Zoom at All Children's Hospital and Glazier Children's Museum.
Shelly is also an accomplished author and illustrator, having created six books in the Okalani the Octopus series for young children. Her books have garnered attention from major news outlets, including Fox News, ABC Action News, and Spectrum News.
In the realm of marketing, Shelly has excelled as a Creative Director and marketing professional, earning 12 Addys from the American Advertising Federation for her copywriting skills.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Shelly engages in various creative activities, including large-scale acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media. In her free time she enjoys golf, biking, horseback riding and hanging out with her dogs Pickles and Boomer.
