Project 1: Watercolor Agate Slices
Video Length: 30 minutes. Most people will complete the project within one hour.
Agate is a mineral from the quartz family that comes in a variety colors. On the outside it looks like a sphere of rough and craggy rock. Inside are striations of different colors and crystal formations. Agate slices are thin pieces cut from the sphere. They are polished and oftentimes artificial color is added.

Project 2: Make Your Own Crystals!
Video Length: 10 minutes. Expect to spend about 45 minutes making two faux crystals.
Create beautiful faux crystals. They are oh so sparkly and easy to create! Believe it or not, all you need are some common materials you'll find around your house.
General supplies needed:
Aluminum foil
Paintbrush
Black acrylic paint
sugar
Clear liquid glue (not white school glue)
Food dye

Project 3: 3D Paper Gem
Video Length: 10 minutes. Expect to spend about 20 to 30 minutes making the project.
The third is a great project for on the go. Print out the PDF, shade the facets of the gem with colored pencils and assemble.

Scissors
