Sculpt a wide variety of shapes using all-natural wool and a barbed needle. Needle felting is fun, relaxing and easier than it looks! No complicated patterns to memorize. The classes will start with how to use the needle safely and an easy project. It will progress in complexity through the six weeks.

You’ll learn how to sculpt 3D food, animals, beads, plus how to needle felt on an embroidery hoop. There will be opportunities with each project for you to personalize and add your own creative touches. All materials are included. At the conclusion of the class you’ll take home a foam block and a needle so you can continue needle felting at home .

Ages 7 and up. We will have finger protectors available for use. The instructor is Janell Scannell, the owner of Pop up Art School. She has taught hundreds of beginners how to needle felt.

Prerequisite: No experience necessary. Ages 7 and up
