Brian Wildsmith Birds

Make a colorful three-dimensional bird. Starting with corrugated cardboard students will sketch the bird of their choice. After cutting it out they will use oil pastels to apply color. Explore three-dimensional additions and create legs from chenille stems to attach it to a base of cardboard for a standing bird. A project-based class good for children and tweens.

This program is based on the children's book Birds illustrated by Brian Wildsmith.
